I have been following the weekly UK Top 10 singles charts since 1987. First, it was through the weekly German magazine, Bravo. Then I started listening to Tim Smith's UK Top 20 on BBC - Tuesday 5:45 pm meant I was glued to the TV and couldn't be disturbed under practically any circumstances! I then got my hands on a book that had a comprehensive listing of the UK Top 40 singles since the inception of the charts. I now get the UK singles charts on the internet. In this blog, I'm sharing records and trivia pertaining to the UK singles charts.
